January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month!

This month there are plenty of ways to join the fight against trafficking. During human trafficking awareness month, you can easily raise awareness in your circle of influence or learn something new for yourself! Here are a few simple yet important ways to get started:

Pray: This is ultimately a spiritual battle. Pray for our partner ministries, our volunteers, the girls we serve and all the people God sets put before us.

Learn: Read one of the books on our bookshelf.  Watch a film/documentary on human trafficking. Here is a good list or attend a screening of Nefarious on 1/29.

Share: Tell someone what you've learned or about one of the events happening this month.

Act: Attend one of the events below,  Ask congress to pass the Human Trafficking Prioritization Act, Take the Pledge with the ARMED campaign, Shop fair trade, Ask your favorite brands to examine their supply chain, Buy a t-shirt or donate to one of your favorite groups.
